Join DHARMA FRIENDS for a Night of Spiritual Celebration through Music, Poetry and Dance!

Celebrate Tibetan New Year + DHARMA FRIENDS’ Two Year Anniversary with Megan Mook, Kevin Townley, and Lopön Karla Jackson-Brewer as they offer Tantric Dharma teachings on tsok and the role of art and ecstatic celebration on the spiritual path. 

In honor of our Two Year Anniversary, we have an extra-special lineup of artists including Haleh Liza Gafori (Rumi translator and musician), Kelsang Choedon (Bhutanese Dance), Neil D’Astolfo (comedy), Isabel Renner (comedy) and Rob Ward (viola).  Join us this winter on Tibetan New Year (Losar) us we gather in community to learn, meditate and celebrate through poetry, music, comedy, and Tibetan dance.

  • No. All experience levels are welcome, including beginners.

  • Nope. You do not have to be Buddhist to participate in DHARMA FRIENDS events. All are welcome.

  • All young adults can attend Dharma Friends gatherings (in-person and Zoom) free of charge. You are encouraged to make a donation if you feel called!

    Sliding scale tickets anyone over 35.

  • Dharma Gates wholeheartedly welcomes people of all cultural, ethnic and racial backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. There will be gender neutral bathrooms available and we may be able to provide single rooms if that would make you more comfortable. Our aim is to make retreat practice accessible to all young people—if there’s something we can to do help you feel comfortable to attending, please do not hesitate to reach out to us (team@dharma-gates.org.)
